Ajita Bhatt
Ajita Bhat has been appointed as the new president of Chinmaya Mission Boston (CMB) in December 2021.
Ajita was introduced to Chinmaya Mission in 1991. Ajita is a sincere student of Vedanta and continues to be on the path towards attaining self-knowledge.
She has been an active member and a sevak in several ways and especially the past few years as the President of the Executive Committee of CMB.
Dr.Gopala Dwarakanth
Gopala Dwarakanath retired as the Medical Director of the Pain Management Center at Lowell General Hospital. He continues to help them as and when needed.
He was appointed by Pujya Gurudev Swami Chinmayanandaji as President of Chinmaya Mission Boston (CMB) in 1992. He has now retired as the President and continues to serve on the board.
From the beginning, Dwarakaji had the vision to build a center that catered to the spiritual, religious, and cultural needs in the local area while spreading the message of Vedanta to members of the community. His vision came true in 2003 when the first phase of the current Chinmaya Mission ashram was constructed. It was subsequently completed in 2008.
T.R Raghunath
T R Raghunath is the owner of Thin Film Research based in Westford, MA.
He is one of the Adult Satsang moderators and is actively involved in the day to day activities of the mission.
Mr.Murali Chari
Murali Chari recently retired from Dow Chemicals.
He is responsible for all site operations in CMB, Andover, and also manages the Audio-Visual team.
Mr.Gururaj “Desh” Deshpande
Gururaj “Desh” Deshpande is the President and Chairman of Sparta Group LLC and has founded several successful companies including Cascade Communications and Sycamore Networks.
He continues to provide his material support, management expertise and guidance to the mission and has been involved in its activities since inception.
Ashwani Singhal
Ashwani Singhal is Senior VP of R&D at Netscout Systems.
He has supported the mission for several years both financially and with active management input.
Sas Durvasula
Sas Durvasula retired as a Director from Hewlett-Packard.
He maintains an active presence at CMB and oversees all of its operations.
Mr.Sanjay Padaki
Sanjay Padaki is a Senior Director at Vertex Pharmaceuticals.
He has been an active member of the mission for over a decade and currently coordinates the audio-visual activities for the center’s auditorium.
Sudhir Srinivasan
Sudhir Srinivasan is a Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of the Storage Division at Dell EMC.
He is an active sevak in the Audio/Visual team at the Mission.
He is an ardent student of Vedanta which has been a transformative force for him and he hopes to continue his spiritual evolution through seva at the Mission.
Anuradha Annaswamy
Anuradha Annaswamy is currently working as the Director of the Active-Adaptive Control Laboratory in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at MIT.
She helps with managing the Newton chapter of Chinmaya Mission and teaches Bala Vihar classes.
Reena Patel
Reena, born and raised in Andover, has a personal tie and strong interest to serve the community in which she was raised.
She currently teaches Balavihar and leads Yuva Kendra efforts to bridge the gap between young adults and Hinduism. She aims to add a fresh perspective through her commitment of teaching, listening and advocating for Indian American youth.
In her daily work, she is a Senior Manager at Deloitte in Boston and enjoys photography, travel, and the great outdoors.
